We´ll take a close look at the most decisive points and the respective measuring equipment. On the basis of printing examples we will give an overview of the current status of screen printing inks, whether solvent-based or UV-curable.

Featuring Pad Printing insight, this seminar informs about all the important parameters and selection criteria regarding cliché, pad, printing machine, and ink. Possible sources of error will be reproduced and evaluated during the practical part, and you are welcome to bring any kind of problem cases for us to analyze.

Digital Printing - Basics and Practical Examples
One-day seminar; for Wide Format Operators

Offering plenty of new applications, Digital Printing is the future technology. The seminar´s core elements include characteristics and the chemical structure of digital printing inks, as well as basics of Colour Management, printable colour gamut, maintenance, and trouble-shooting - live at the Training Centre. The possibilities of liquid coatings for recoating will be discussed and demonstrated.

The World of Colours and Effects
One-day seminar; see, mix and judge colours

Designing products with colours and effects keeps becoming more and more important. To adjust the colour shade accurately, it is important to know the influencing parameters of colour perception and formulation. We´ll point them out and impart our knowledge about common colour matching systems, how to use the spectrophotometer and the Marabu-ColorManager. Practical applications will colour up your day!

This seminar offers basic and advanced information about halftone printing in theory and practice. We´ll use examples to compile a dot gain curve, followed by densitometry. Furthermore, interesting new developments will be presented and tested to reveal their advantages.
